quick write.
It was hard at first because I needed to work on my sentence structure. But luckily I have my great father Geoff and he helped me finish it.
Hi Elijah, I wanted to read your Quick rite but I couldn't see it, can you post it oo. Its great that dad is helping you, guess he will be learning too. I hope you wrote some great sentences, I look forward to reading them Mrs Thompson
Hi Elijah Lucky you have your Dad to give you a helping hand! I enjoyed reading your take on our sentence starter and I want to know what happens next - a ginormous what? Oh the suspense! It would be great if you could add speech marks for the parts when people are speaking and start each one on a new line. Ngā mihi Mrs Parsons
Well done, Elijah! What a great piece of writing you have produced with the support of your Dad. I agree with Mrs Parson the use of speech marks would help show us when someone is talking and has finished talking. If you are unsure of how to do this, check in with your teachers, I'm sure they can help out or you could watch a you tube clip about speech marks. Awesome learning!
Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments. Positive - something done well Thoughtful - a sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
